Hello
and Welcome to the Holiday Blog Hop!!! Today's hop is a collection of
Holiday (Christmas or New Year) crafts designed by the Bug Bytes Design
Team Members.
You should have arrived from Danita. If you found me first and want to start at the beginning, Please visit Pam at the Bug Bytes. Your next stop is Beth.
I have three boys so when I get a chance to create girly items I am all in! I am working on adding some handmade touches to gifts for my nieces. Earlier in the week I show a super cute wooden bag that I made. Well I went back to my Michaels and they were SOLD OUT. So I had to improvise for my other niece. That way each one gets a special girlie item.
I started with a plastic clear ornament from Hobby Lobby. I "destroyed" a multicolored flower pick with wire cutters.
Then I sprinkled a variety of Martha Stewart glitter.
Then I closed up the halves and attached a strip of foil tape on the sides to hide the seam. Then I used floral wire to make a loop. I then tied small strips of hot pink tulle around the wire loop.
My last step was to tie a multi-looped bow with the 3 Girl Jam bowmaker. (LOVE IT).
I hope you liked my tutu ornament. I had so much fun making it.
Here are some other linking options I have been participating in this week:
Now make sure you leave a comment on this post. I will draw a winner for an embossing folder set from Sizzix.
These folders will work in any die cutting machine like Cuttlebug, Vagabond, Grand Caliber, Big Shot, etc. I will pull a name on Monday December 17, 2012. I will announce on Tuesday the winner here on my blog.
