This tag is my interpretation of the Tim Holtz day 3 tag. I did not have his stamp, so I really had to put my Cricut to use for this one! This is the font list and size for this tag:
"Christmas" Storybook .77 inches
"Joy" Carousel .76 inches
"Seasons Greetings"Christmas 1.63 inches
"Holidays" Cherry Limeaid .65 inches
"Believe" Lyrical Letters 1.0 inches
As you can see from the sizing these fonts are very small. So I cut all of them from Grungepaper. The Cricut cuts Grungepaper like a dream. Here are my settings: Depth 6 Pressure 5, speed 5 and Muticut 2. Grungepaper is my first choice when I am cutting small letters.
As you can see I carefully removed my cuts to remain intact. This made tinting the grungepaper so much easier! I love Distress Stains! They R*O*C*K!
After the Grungepaper dried, I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in various colors. Using the Glimmer Glam with a brush made the letters POP!
Then I began laying the words down using Glossy Accents.
Next I added some greenery from Christmas and Straight from The Nest in the bottom corner and the top.
My last step was to add dyed crinkle ribbon and few jingle bells.
This card is simple yet elegant. I loved the challenge of really stretching my creativity. I think the Grungepaper and Glimmer Glam "make" this project look so beautiful.
Here is the free Gypsy file.
If you download, I would love for you to leave me a comment! I hope you have a creative day! Tomorrow starts my week at Everyday Cricut. I have a giveaway planned each day so make sure you come by and play!

Awesome Tag. Inspirational to try grunge paper with the cricut. Thank you for sharing.
I love this tag,Elizabeth. I'm doing a photo tray and trying unsuccessfully cutting out small letter. I didn't even think of grundgeboard. I really enjoy your blog. You are so descriptive and I always understand how to do things.
Elizabeth you did a beautiful job! I like your interpretation better than the original! Really beautiful TFS and for the inspiration.

Love what you did! Great interpretation of Tim's tag. I cannot believe you cut the grunge paper with the Cricut. Did you use the deep cut blade or just the regular blade? I'm so excited to try this! TFS!!!
Thanks for the hint to use grungepaper for small letters. I've never thought about using it - what a great idea! Thanks for sharing - love the tag!

What a great tag. I have not had much luck cutting really skinny letters. I tend to break them when lifting them off the cutting mat. I'll have to try the grunge paper!
I love this tag! What a great idea to cut the fonts the way that you did! And I've never used Glimmer Glam, but now I'm going to have to find some! Thanks, Elizabeth for sharing a great tag and technique.
