Vintage Christmas Plaque

I made this project back in the summer but I wanted to share with you now since I have been all about the HOLIDAYS over the last few days!
I stated out by using a flat artist cnvas that I bought in a 3 pack.
I ran it through the Cuttlebug, giving a nice deep embossing.
Next I inked and Glimmer Glammed the whole canvas.
 Here is a close up.
Then I punched out this tag from Graphic 45. I glazed both the canvas and the tag with Glossy Accents and let them dry over night.
Next I cut these brackets from Christmas Solutions Cricut cartridge.
I inked and assembled the cuts.
Next I prepped my ribbon. I started with a thicker brocade ribbon and added Terrifically Tacky Tape.
Then I added another ribbon on top of the adhesive.
Finally I added a string of pearls.
Here is a video on how to layer ribbon that I did on a previous project. It's a great way to use up scraps!
Here is the link to the video How to Layer Ribbon Tutorial
( I add this link for my Feedburner readers since it doesn't always add the link.  If you are viewing this on my blog, you do not need to click the link unless you want to subscribe to my YouTube channel.)
Since my tag was now dry, I could stamp my sentiment from Vintage Greetings from Pink By Design. I love stamping over Glossy Accents!
Once my canvas was dried, I adhered my stamped tag to the canvas.
Finally I added lace to the back and adhered all my cuts and layered ribbon.
I love the subtle elegance of this piece.
I hope you liked this project! As always I appreciate comments, subscribers and followers.
Also remember I am giving away Martha Stewart Birthday Cake Art Cricut Cartridge.

Fabulous! You are brave running the canvas thru your cuttlebug. I would have thought it was to thick to emboss. Thanks for sharing.
