I started by stamping my layered stamp 3 times on pink and lavender cardstock. When I stamped the images, I first stamped with Ranger Distress Embossing Ink and I sprinkled Ranger Ultra Fine Gold heat embossing powder. I used my heat gun to set it. Then I used Sakura Glaze pens to color in the image.
Once my pens dried, I used my scissors to cut the egg into multiple layers. This is why I stamped 3 times. Next I used Pop Dots to raise the images stacking from bottom to top.
I used Cuttlebug for the embossing. I also spritzed Glimmer Mist in Pearl on the paper. This paper is a little on the thin side so it began to buckle a bit under the moisture. But as it dried, it flattened back out. I also added a strip of baby pink ribbon to the side of the card using hot glue.
Finally I mounted the egg and base to an A2 card. The dimension on this card is just beautiful.Make sure you leave comments and follow! When I reach 1100 Followers, I will giveaway the Cricut Cartridge Calligraphy Collection! Have a great day! Tomorrow I have a fun new card using the We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy! Are you crazy for March Madness?

Dear Elizabeth,
I have some beautiful layered stamps that I purchased in England this summer. Apparently, the technique that you used here for the egg is quite popular there. I haven't used the stamps yet because I was waiting for a tutorial like yours. I wonder if you might do a video of the technique you used; it would be very helpful. Your creation is lovely as usual! Thank you.
