Let Your Light Shine Card

I was feeling very Shabby Chic when I made this quick and easy card.

I then cut 2 pieces of Core'dinations Whitewash paper as well to be my mounts.  What I love about this paper is that it acts like a 3 in 1.  The solid is the back side; the front is the white; after embossing you get both.  So much variety and fun!  I ran both through the Cuttlebug and embossed the paper with Art Deco Folder. I also sanded the whitewash side a bit. To distress the edges, I used the Distrezz-it All.

 I mounted the whitewash side to the solid.  I also  ran a thin strip of ribbon across the middle.  I stamped my sentiment from Pink By Design Stamps "Faith" collection .

I cut the birdcage at 4 inches from my Imagine Lori's Garden with the combined layers. I inked the cut with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I popped it up with some pop dots. Finally I ran some of the same ribbon across the top. 

No card would be complete without some bling, so I whipped out my i-Rock and added some bling to the bottom of the birdcage.
