Beautiful Dream Altered Frame

We all have dreams to share.  I am always so moved by those who are willing to use their dreams to improve our world.  I decided to create a project that reflects Martin Luther King, Jr.
This frame was bought at Michaels from the "As Is" area.  It had scratches along the frame.  To me these issues are not a problem when altering. I find that I can conceal a lot with die cuts, flowers and Alcohol Ink.  I used Twilight Purple and Stream to conceal and alter the color.
While the Alcohol Ink dried, I worked on my cuts.
Mother's Day Bouquet- Flowers cut at 1.71 inches 1.12 inches and 1.35 inches
Picturesque- Butterfly and shadow at 1.23 inches
Home Decor- Beautiful 1.35 inches
Home Accents- 2 flourishes at 2.76 inches
Creative Memories Reminisce Accents- Dream at 2.29 inches welded on Gypsy (cut from Pink Paislee Beehive Collection)
All my cuts were lightly inked using Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.
My flowers were Glimmer Misted with Pomegranate and Sapphire.
On the inside of the frame backing I used Basic Grey Manila Collection.  I used the lined paper and wrote excerpts from part of the "I Have A Dream Speech" that I obtained at Wikipedia. I chose the exceprts that meant most to me.  Once the writing was done, I used Tea Dye Distress Ink to "vintage" the paper.  Next I began work on the tag.  I used a #8 Manila Tag from InkEssentials.  I embossed the tag with Love is In the Air folder.  I then used Glimmer Mist in Pomegranate, Sapphire, Walnut Gold, and Vanilla Breeze. I distressed the edges and then I also used lots of Distress Ink Peeled Paint, Walnut Stain and Worn Lipstick to tint the torn edge. I then tied a small sage green ribbon to the tag. I mounted the tag to the paper and then the whole inside to the back of the frame.
My last step was to add all my cuts to the frame using E6000.  I love this design so much.
As always my gypsy file is free to download.
Thank you for leaving comments and of course following me! Have a fab Monday!
