I am sharing a beautiful card that is just right for the season. But before I begin my tutorial, I want to be sure I thank each of you for coming to my blog each day. I feel so special to know that so many people enjoy my art. For me it is a gift to be able to share and it is very personal, so from me to you THANK YOU!!!!
When I think of fall, I think of rich colors, beautiful texture, and time with family.
This card is a standard A2. I used Handy Man, George, and Wall Decor and More cartridges. At the end of the of the post, you will be able to download this free Gypsy file.
I cut the house at 4 inches from Handy Man from chipboard. I used Multicut 2; Speed High; Pressure High, Depth 6. I also cut all the coordinating layers for the house.
I then took acrylic paint and colored the chipboard layers.
Once the paint was dried, I ran the top layers through my inked Cuttlebug Folders and my Cuttlebug machine.
I love the way the Lite cartridges layer. It is so easy to piece together!
Then I cut the base of the wreath (.30 inches) from George and Basic Shapes.
I coated the top of the cut with adhesive and then used Autumn Flower Soft to cover the adhesive.
Next I started work on the tree. Thos tree is from Wall Decor and More. I cut it from Snapshot: Texture paper from my Imagine at 4 inches.
I then used Glimmer Mist in Pinceone and Tiger Lilly to tint the tree. I love how the dark pulls through on the Glimmer Mist.
Once the tree was dry, I added adhesive to the branches randomly. I then dusted the Flower Soft into the adhesive.
Then I added some thin strips of adhesive below the window sills and at the base of the porch and added Autumn Flower Soft.I also adhered the wreath to the door. Finally, I stamped this perfect sentiment! It is from Pink By Design Stamps Bountiful Blessings.I stamped it with Walnut Stain from Tim Holtz Distress Inks
The tree was placed flat on the paper while the house was raised with some pop dots. I love the look and feel of this card!
