Tags are quickly becoming a new favorite. Good thing several cartridges have tags. I was inspired to make these tags for the Circle Blog Challenge "Think Pink". The challenge was to use 3 of these items: Pink, Jewels, Ruffles, Scallops, Glitter, and Flourishes. I chose to use Pink, Jewels, and Flourishes.
The Gypsy file looks like this:
This flourished tag is from the solutions cartridge Wedding, as is the shadow behind the tag (real size off at 3.72 inches). The butterfly is from Hannah Montana (1.24 inches). "Hope" is from Wall Decor and More (1.0 inch). "Faith" is from Home Accents (1.0 inch).
Although I did not do any fancy Gypsy work, using the Gypsy does make better use of paper and time. I love being able to search though the cartridges quickly.
I inked all the cuts with Tim Holtx Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap.
The tags were very easy to assemble.
To add dimension to the tags, I folded the butterflies in half.
I added the jewels to the flourishes and tied a sheer ribbon to the top of the tag.
I hope you like the tags. I am going to make several more for a fundraiser at my son's school for thier Fall Marketplace Auction.
If you'd like the file, please feel free to download it for free. Just leave me a comment!
