Cornucopia of Thanks

This is my Cornucopia for Thanksgiving Dinner.  This was designed on my Gypsy using Plantin, Destination, Home Accents, and Pooh Fonts.  It really sounds like a lot of hodge podge of images, but welded together, it is even more beautiful in person.  Once I had my weld completed, I cut the image out of chipboard.  It took 3 cuts on the normal blade.  The image fits on an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper. Once the chipboard was cut, I cut the image again this time in a rich brown cardstock.  Once that one was done, I flipped the image and cut again on another piece of the same cardstock.  From there, I glued the pieces all together and used Tattered Angels Glimmermist in Gold.  Then I took thin layers of wet adhesive and glittered the entire bottom row of leaves. I let it sit overnight.  The next day I took several bunches of fall bouquets that were 90% off at Joann's and Walmart and began cutting them apart.  I bought a charger plate at Hobby Lobby for $1.99 and began by hot gluing the leaves and fruit to the plate.  Once I thought I had it pretty full, I hot glued the cornucopia to a group of leaves and branches to help hold it up. This is by far one of my best creation so far with my Gypsy and my Cricut Expression.  Thank you for looking, and if you have any questions, please let me know. Happy Thanksgiving!

Just Buggin' Triple Whammy Challenge

This is my submission for the Weekly Design Challenge at Just Buggin'. The front of the card was made using Snow Friends (snowman, hat, and scarf) and When It's Cold Outside (3D snowflake).  I stamped with black Staz-on the PeachyKeen face.  I also colored in his nose with Sunset Orange from BIC Mark-it and his coal smile has Gunmetal Stickles.  The detailing of the scarf and hat were difficult to photograph, but I used Glossy Accents to give an Epoxy-raised effect. The iridescent snow was made by applying a thin layer of Yes Paste and sprinkling the glitter into the wet adhesive. The inside saying, "Frosty Kisses", was made by the welding of Gypsy Font and the snowflakes are from When It's Cold Outside.  I had lots of fun embellishing this card. I hope you enjoy!
